Received six letters today from June, one from Beesley, three from Waller, and a v-mail from mom. I have had some sinus headaches everyday in the last week - they aren't very much fun but I bear up under them. Weldy is coming down to Camp Columbia for O.C.S. by February 1, so I should see the bloody "cobber" pretty soon. It will seem good.

The allies look to invade Europe any day. We hit Berlin with 2300 tons in 30 minutes. The whole French coast took a battering.

June is going to join the Alpha Chi Omega sorority she tells me. I got her a bracelet today. I hope she likes it. I have written practically proposing but I don't know exactly whether she loves me.

I got a rejected letter because I mentioned how the fellows coming back from N. G. had lost all of their hair and about half of their weight. I haven't had one back since I was at Muckley and had all the trouble The Aussies are good people at heart but their way of living is back a couple of centuries. I long for a real malt or a coke with ice or just ice. No nothing in this land. We can't say a thing about the people or the country except something complimentary.
