TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:-
Private Gerald H. Bagley has been on duty in the Office of the Air Force Surgeon, Headquarters, Far East Air Forces (P) (formerly Headquarters, Fifth Air Force) continuously since 27 November 1943. During this period Private Bagley has been consistently under my direct observations and supervision so that I feel well qualified to judge his merits.
His duties have included stenography, typing, statistical computations, organization, and compiling of the Monthly Consolidated Venereal Disease Statistical Report to Washington, and assistant Chief Clerk in this Office.
In his performance of his duties Private Bagley has displayed initiative and dependability of a degree rarely found in the Army. He has been efficient, courteous, cooperative, and trustworthy at all times.
His present grade is absolutely no index of his abilities and is a result of circumstances over which he had no control (lack of T/O vacancies). This man is definitely officer material and would develop into an excellent member of the Medical Administrative Corps.
