Things are unchanged. I'm expecting a move above Wewak soon. We have admiraltys nearly under control. The blitz over Europe goes on day after day. Cassino has been reduced to rubble. The Anzio beachhead is getting stronger. One bunch of boys went home or at least went to Ascot to wait on a boat. Now rumor has it that the next three months quotas have been canceled. Everyone is p'd off about it.

Work in our office is about the same. I'm working plenty hard and getting nothing for it. My mail from June hasn't been so good. Sam Smoot from Provo works in our adjacent office and we shoot the bull quite often. Guess I'd better get back to work now.
