We are docked at Auckland, New Zealand. Our cruise so far has been pretty monotonous. We crossed the equator a week ago yesterday at five minutes after eight. We had a big celebration with the usual visit from King Neptune and everyone was invited. We've seen three moving picture shows. Wednesday at noon the loud speaker announced that it was Thursday so we had just crossed the international date line. This is going to be tough tonite. We are within ten minutes of the middle of Auckland. We can see it plainly from the boat the the officers are going ashore but we can't leave this garbage scow.
